You know who Frankenstein is, right? That green monster with bolts in his brain. Well get that idea out of your head because that's NOT Frankenstein. Victor Frankenstein is the guy that made the monster, not the monster himself. In the books, that monster is simply referred to as "the creature"or "the monster".

I'm sure you've seen that "it's alive!!!" scene in movies or cartoon parodies. Frankenstein NEVER says that in the book and his reaction to seeing the creature alive was that of a disgust so intense that he had to leave the room because he couldn't bear to look at it.

Finally, in the book, the creature has long hair and not short hair like media portrays it.
