In Bonito - Mato Grosso do Sul during the rain season some of the tourist spots flood and they look even better, some people do diving there with fish and so forth, sometimes you can see giant sucuris there so you have to be careful.
There are so much fish there that the snakes have plenty to eat but who knows.
