when did people forget how to just stack stones all day until you get something built
surely a dozen or so guys with precut stone bricks and a bunch of mortar could accomplish building the exterior of this in a few weeks
and the stones tend to be cut large so after just a few hundred of them you already have quite a wall, seems like it would go really quickly if you had a few pairs of two guys carrying large stones together going back and forth to grab more, and a guy or two laying down the mortar, and then someone to check to make sure its level after they're placed
