It's okay, the pointy fish like that have really weak bites. I was a bit afraid of having to unhook gar before but then I managed to keep their mouths open with barely any force. They look scary but that's it :).

Not too much news, most of it would be a bit sad. I did have to chase two hens this morning and put them in a dog cage. We got two new hens to introduce to the flock, but to do that you need to keep them separated but able to see and smell each other, otherwise the hens will peck 'em a whole bunch and be mean. It's the origin of the term "pecking order" too :). How've you been?
