Yes, recently a mod to make Axel/Blaze/Estelle run released, should be on nexus, but haven't tried it yet. I understand that the devs were trying to make every character have a certain play style, but when moving to the next screen I spam any moves that give me there faster.

It's almost required to spam moves with insane iframes in Mania+, the DLC added some of the best moves as well.
