Alright since i again have wish to be attention whore let's talk about how prepare most valuable fortification resource: LOGS
First of all: nearby frontline where enemy can use some recon stuff all logs chopping goes selectively and specifically far away(at least 30-50 meters) of any object you already/want to camouflage. Especially need to mention that complete logging is retarded because it would be obvious to the enemy that you have some activities here. That means you need also watch for forest "bald spots".
If you find some tree that can be chopped and it definitely not cause clustering by M864 then you must watch tree acceptance for building. Bendy trees that looks like crankshaft and can't be cut nearly to the straight line - don't used.
After we know that tree is good then we need to choose direction where tree is gonna fall. Direction require small amount of perpendicular branches and nondense crown of nearby trees. Otherwise your log is stuck and you need to chop another one where it stuck or carry a fucking vertical log.
Also need to mention that
To cut tree you must initially make a triangle cut on tree side to witch it's gonna fall. This triangle cut must cross 1/3-1/2 of tree diameter. After this we can cut remainings in the other side.
Gongrats tree fall and only things remains to do is cut crown/branches and transport it.
