There's this other manga I'm reading rn, Ori no Naka, and it also has a protagonist who lacks self-esteem and wallows in self-loathing. But it feels so sincere and self-aware compared to Part 2. You're at once cringing at and disgusted by the main character, but he's weirdly compelling and you're kinda rooting for him despite all his neuroses.
