Shift-Up was developing Stellar Blade long before Nikke was making them gazillions. It’s nice that they’re making a sequel, but it’s purely a passion project at this point that was born from a purely contractual obligation they had with Snoy that they had been dragging their feet on for a while.
I like Stellar Blade a ton, but you can tell it’s a shell of a much larger original vision.
