well I did, I remember beta invites were super hard to get early on to force you to watch streamers, also got legend season 1 pic related

was easy to go infinite in arena and get gold/dust/packs, also there were cheap meta decks that didnt cost a lot to make that used 0 legendaries and few if any epics

but why we comparing start of hearthstone anyway, this is basicallly 10 year old game in shadowverse, if hs ever had a hs2 I doubt it would remove bunch of qol features, make dusting worse and increase pack price by x5
