From my standpoint, I'm getting the impression that Davy Jones was neither Imu nor Joyboy. For one we know Imu's original name, Nerona Imu. Secondly I'd expect Imu to seethe a lot more if Rocks straight up named Joyboy's real name to his face.
I'm not saying all sides united against Davy, more that the 20 Kingdoms had long been having grudges agains Joyboy and the Ancient Kingdom, and simply seized the opportunity. As for the connection to the 4 Gods and the First World, I really can't tell and it's too many unknowns to speculate desu. Imu at least probably has some power from one of the gods just like Nika though, but I have no idea how Davy Jones connects to that.
