You are both not the first to notice this and it goes much deeper. Hebrides are where Hebrews originate. Edinburgh is Jerusalem. The etymology of Edinburgh is literally City of God. Also has Mount Zion right outside, Arthur's Seat. (Arthur being a form of Jehovah. Say it with the J as Y)

Most likely a major catastrophe swept over the land, separating Ireland, Britain and Norway, and melting Antrim, the Scottish Highlands and the Cumberland Lakes. Comyns Beaumont calls it a super-comet and other people have suggested this comet went on to become the planet Venus.

Problematic because Monotheism is older than Polytheism and there is flat out nothing to connect modern day Jews with Old Testement events or tbe deserts of Palestine any more than anyone else in the world.
There is actually a pretty good body of evidence to originate Hebrews in the Hebrides of the cost of Scotland and valid reason for thinkind Edinburgh to be Jerusalem, which is the literal meaning of Edinburgh. Plus it has a plausible Mount Zion in Arthur's Seat, also literally meaning the Throne of God.
Most likely these things happened in the sky but they definitely did not happen in waterless modern Jerusalem with a Roman-era fort and no river transport or fertile hinterland.

People who live in a climate cursed by God are subhuman. England has a much better climate and the real Jerusalem was in Edinburgh anyway proven by this book.
