They always scramble to make up excuses about how the USSR was going to attack themselves any day now and the goymons were justified in attacking them pre-emptively. Same exact rhetoric employed by the descendants of the same people, today.

In fact, war itself is illogical, certainly since the industrial revolution, unless your goal is to do genocide/extermination of a race or ethnicity. Otherwise it's completely nonsensical and is always a loss making enterprise. At least in real terms if not in fiat currency or mostly fictional fiat currency terms.
