We Indians are half Eastern Eurasian half Western Eurasian. Eastern Eurasians are extremely distinct from SSA. Our maternal DNA is M which we share with East Asians. Our paternal DNA is Western Eurasian which we share with Europeans and Middle Easterners.
Europeans especially Southern ones have trace African DNA due to historic migrations / proximity from Africa into Europe. There is very little Sub Saharan admixture in India.
