Put numerous mounting points on the armour so it can have pre moulded heat resistant plate slotted into it, specifically around the chest, outer thigh, shoulders and neck. It will mean the plates can be put into position and removed easily when they take to much of a beating then replaced on the fly! While giving the option too use other metals for different things for example some manner of compressible plates for explosions, insulators for radiation etc.

As a personal request request a spartan sized and reinforced Trench knife, so we have some knuckle dusters and a knife...and we're less likely to drop it.
