Disregarding the Shipbait, Commu 21/22 immediately sets a different tone from Sumika and Hiro's. Unlike these two who are desperate to catch up and need cheese to win (especially Hiro), Kotone is already being treated by some fans as a top idol. P doesn't think so, not until she beats Sena, but Kotone isn't present here as a longshot underdog but as an up-and-coming contender. There's none of the feelings of inadequacy that were present in Sumika and Hiro's routes. Maybe it'll come in later commus but its already very different
