It's an obscure comic but I'll take a chance to mention it.
I bet my left kidney this girl here was originally written as a boy but at the last minute they just changed all the "he"s to "she"s before publishing the comic. If you changed the dialogue to refer to Pilu as a boy the story stays the exact same if not slightly better.
