It would be hilarious if this was revealed as a clever honeypot. In fact, even if it wasn't one by design, it essentially is now. ISPs and Google will be subpoenaed and, as required by law, turn over the IP addresses of everyone accessing the files (or the map). And no, a VPN won't help since most of them are also required by law to turn over their logs. ISPs know what customer account is tied to each IP. This is gonna be a shit show.
It is pretty fishy honestly I just heard about this Tea app like a day or two ago. It was all over the internet, like news of it's existence was being forced down my throat. Then all of the sudden a massive data breach? And it was leaked to some site called "404media" which I've never fucking heard of?
