I started by running locally for free yeah but it's not worth it honestly
it's hot, noisy, and long
now I use rented gpu online it takes 2 seconds per image (1 to 5 minutes if I run locally), and the price is cheaper than the electricity bills I pay for running it locally, I can enjoy my silent pc and a cold room

it's really not that expensive to do it online as long as you don't pay for a shit one
I have unlimited gen for 25$ per month
considering the process cost of each gen, if I gen more than 500 images per month I'm winning, I usually gen over 1000 images per day
