Ban lobbying and people might consider it but as is, citizens are the only ones not represented. Corporations, foreigners and unions who don't give a shit about citizens, are who controls government. They pay off glowniggers like mercs and send in 1000s of lawyers to pilpul law to their benefit, killing any regular joe's motivation to even try reining in the corruption. Fight a war? Nah, the regular joes would sooner turn a weapon on their own governments and end the ride with a bang.
