Yes, I'd heard from content creators ahead of time that Panda needed to go in the slot after Yixuan rather than the one before but that violates the established rules of swap progression as I knew them. It seems entirely arbitrary but Panda's quick assist always swaps to the member before him, all other's that I'm aware of go to the member after.

I know to put Panda in slot 2 in order to do the rotation correctly, just not what part of the game makes it work this way.
