Short version, if a game like Limbus can’t be supported anymore for any updates then Project Moon could just shut the servers down and fix it and fuck you if you whaled any amount for them
Under the new law, in the best case scenario, Project Moon would have to patch the game so most of it is playable without online functionalities so you can just play the main story and dungeons and stuff
Though this has more tangible results for stuff like Warframe, Outlast Trials, Vermintide or other games you can easily see there being a patched offline mode in what was originally an online only game, I’m not sure how plausible that’d be for a gacha, plus the initiative is only making the case for all games AFTER the proposal date to make this law apply, not making it retroactive so it’s more convincing as a proposal to meet in the middle on
