Today I feel like talking about Danganronpa. I was doomscrolling on Instagram and came across subtle ways in which an intelligent character shows that they are intelligent:
>they notice what is not said. The gap. The silence. The missing piece.
>they explain complex things in simple words. No ego, just clarity.
>they pause before responding, not because they are unsure, but because they are calculating what not to say.
>they remember names. Small details. The kind of things people don't expect anyone to remember.
>they don't correct people when they're wrong. Unless it's important. Then they're precise.
>they ask intelligent questions and really listen to the answers.
>they use sarcasm as camouflage; people underestimate sarcastic geniuses.
And I have come to the conclusion that Chiaki is the most intelligent character in the second game. Feel free to debate me for the next two and a half hours.
