Yeah one of the traps people fall into is that the get the idea that they need to collect everything. Find some series you're genuinely passionate about and keep on that. That isn't to say you shouldn't try new shit but experiment either reading online or with cheaper collections like the DC Finest or Epics. But buy to read, not collect. It honestly gets frustrating to see so many people ask what books to buy in the most expensive format possible that they never read, will never read and will just gather stuff on the shelf. These days I mostly just collect Conan stuff and sold a lot of marvel omnis I just wasn't reading in order to pay for stuff I like.
