2. Tell boys that it is normal that girls go for older. This way, there won't be any blind spots. The goal of romance should be family formation, and if something healthy comes out of someone who is different in age, so what?

That meant that you could marry, and marriage implies sex and reproduction. So, the sexual age in pagan times was 14 here, and I think that is a good age, combined with strict puritan moral norms.
