Just finished my Loji run and here are some thoughts I had about it
China can't seem to really get it's economy to turn a profit even with solely building civilian factories and office parks till 27. I only managed to start profiting after getting the third Loji upgrade which grants hefty bonuses. But when I did start making money I started making it big time.
Don't know if it was due to losing the war but I couldn't influence countries before Japan, and you don't get a popup to tell you that the influence tree became available.
Servant of the People subpath tweaking and something to keep it interesting because it gives none of the cool stuff Great Entity does. First focus that changes up policy will put you over trillion a month deficit.
Blockading Australia to peace out doesn't put them out of the faction and they will rejoin in a short amount of time but you can't remove the state attack and speed debuff when they do and the AI refuses to do the battle plans and attack on it's own, making it miserable.
I do wish China had more options with interacting with the rest of the world.
Over it was pretty great except for the final stretch of island hopping in Indonesia, Papua, Australia and New Zealand.
