The reason why they look like cute girls is also a bit plot thing. Though having sex with both human males and Gigerian males (of which there are 6 of the latter, TOTAL) isnt uncommon to hear of in 2097, there have been absolutely ZERO instances of successful impregnation. Not even a chance. It turns out that while Gigerians do indeed have genitalia similar to humans, they're completely infertile. No womb, no eggs, no sperm: nothing. Even the Gigerians themselves are utterly perplexed by this. This means that there have been zero "new" Gigerians since the last one was "unearthed" in 2079, and that not only do Gigerians not seem to die of old age or natural causes, but their number has been steadily ticking down from about 1100 specimens with no way of reproduction at all. The fact that some of them pursue dangerous lifestyles like Envy and Zaida don't exactly help, and neither do cannibals like Nina (pictured) who has successfully murdered and eaten 14 of her own kind to satiate a mad hunger...
