There has been a push to make this site unusable, whether it's low quality spam, low quality discussions, low effort posts. It could be a case of people are becoming dumber, or newfags joining and not having a clue about the site, trying to make it similar to whatever shithole they usually frequent, or an organisation trying to influence the site.
