A four man band of Survivalists is doing a reverse/retreating bounding overwatch towards the new position. Within the brush and between clearings, one group fires off shots from a Mini-14 or a hunting rifle, while the other group falls back. Wildcat had already gotten an arm around Captain Grand and got the man's arm on his shoulders, before trying to get him back to the main area. He helps limp and drags the officer to where the others are, swearing and cursing as he notices there isn't enough furrows to go around.
The forward recon group or whatever the term is, for "Frontier Command", pulls out of the brush, into the clearing, and then cuts across to another area of brush perpendicular or on the other side. Within the heaviest areas outside the clearly, distances between cover or concealment are about 10 meters. This means that it's very easy to get from point to point, and being vigilant and ready to fire is necessary to prevent flanking or being rushed.
Rook checks the container, moving stuff around, but trying to put it where it can't get shot as easily.
