And ever since that experience I've never asked out another woman again. It was at that point I finally learned that there is literally zero reason to pursue women.
If they don't want you, there is almost nothing you can do to change their minds, and in most cases, its never worth the time, energy or risk involved.
If they actually DO want you, they will come to you almost entirely on their own. Nearly no effort or input required on your end.
