Prior gen mustang looks better to my eye, has actual guages rather than that atrocious screen, and no wet timing belt. The saved money on a good cpo is just icing on that cake.
Toyobaru is a turd, that engine hasn't got a redeeming quality. It's unbelievably thirsty for how slow it is and then still isn't reliable. Wait for the Toyota engined one if you really like the car that much. Of course, if you do want a nice looking, enjoyable but slow car than Miata is always the answer.
