As for the last major faction, the one lead by that pacificist bird, Indigo Eyes, you call them the Handouts. It isn’t a name that they call themselves, or anyone else calls them really, but it’s what you’ve decided to call them just by watching them tonight. As far as you can see their policy is doing anything they can to make the plight of the average non-combatant refugee and downtrodden slave as not abjectly miserable as possible. In light of the increasingly critical supply situation and growing panic, their demands, requests and outright begging for the most basic of resources is increasingly being met with sad shrugs or irritated scowls depending on who their pleas are directed to.

You’ve been told that clipping an Asandi’s wings is one of the most awful things that can be done to that avian race, so she has her own reasons to grind an axe or too against the Savis Empire, but she has from the very start been a staunch opponent to the escalation of the slave rebellion. You hate her, how pathetic she is and the weakness she represents. At least, that’s why you tell yourself you hate her. It could also be because she confronts you with the dirty laundry of the Company’s involvement here, one that has escalated from oppression and scavenging on the fringes of the Savis Empire to the genocide and likely utter extermination of every man, woman and child here at it’s hands. It is from the Handouts you see the grim reality of the camps still remaining, the atrocities left behind in those already discovered, that your uneasy knowledge of suffering is presented in cold hard figures intermingled with pleas for help.
