Entire SEA, 16 years old is enough for license, dirt cheap license and used can cost as low as 200 euro.
Downside is the usual road fatality risks.
Sure bicycle can do short range travel too but 35degrees with 90% is not comfortable for cycling.
Being able to use irrigation canal maintenance roads for shortcut is a bonus too.
