I can't read and absorb information at the same time if there's people talking. Random noise and shit like in a store or something is okay though.
Last year, during my senior year of high school, it was hard to read during the mornings before class since there was this religious sports group that would give speeches while I was trying to fucking read.
I would sit down with my kindle, and not even five minutes into reading a bunch of the athletes and this random old guy would come in and the old guy would give speeches about Jesus or something; I barely remember what he talked about. All I remember is that it was about Jesus.
I don't even remember what books I read during that time except one - and that was Ghost in the Wires by Kevin Mitnick. I only remember that one since that book was so good that it's unforgettable.
So yeah fuck reading in public. Shit pissed me off when I got really into the book and that bullshit would happen.
