Six months ago, in January, I had a dream involving a ship named the black moon departing to Gensokyo. Later I would look up that term and discover it correlated to an astronomical event this year on August 22nd in my time zone, or the 23rd in most others. Today is just before midnight, 22nd of June. Two months remain until that night.

Touhou 20 Kinjoukyou is set to release on August 18th, in Japan. For a time that was less clear and another anon on this board said it might be a minor premonition of the release date. That's no longer true, unless we're counting a possible delay for the Steam release. But I can't shake the idea that the dream might be date where I get spirited away to that place. I keep thinking about, wondering if it could be true.

Since then, I've found other astrological curiosities about that night. According to the Aztec Calendar, that is a good day to stalk your prey, a bad day to be hunted.

While researching the calendar to base this drawing on (I got a couple things wrong, still) I found out August 22nd is also when Leo transitions into Virgo. I don't know the possible magical meaning of that. If the transition happens at night, can I calculate the exact hour something might happen?

I find this idea fascinating, in part because I see little hope for myself in this world. But if I am taken to this other world, will it be freedom or out of the frying pan into the fire? Will I be invited to dinner or as the main course?

What should I do if that day really is one where I'll disappear? How can and should I prepare for a possible spiriting away?
