Since there was no First Boom today, consider this your substitute bad takes that will age poorly
>/v/ - /fit/
/v/ wins, they're still a really strong team with extremely competent managers at the helm, barring some apocalyptic bad luck with condition rolls they should easily make to the Round of 16
>/y/ - /f/
/f/ wins, I don't know what the fuck /y/ is doing and quite honestly I'm a bit afraid of it, /f/ is a solid team that should the minimally competent, barring massive amounts of bullshit
>/pol/ - /vt/
draw, both of these teams are doing some interesting things tactically and I can see clear advantage for neither side
>/vmg/ - /vg/
Another draw, I don't trust neither of these teams, /vmg/ has thrived on being a decent team on abysmal groups, /vg/'s export doesn't look as competitive as the spring one, either team can win
>/sp/ - /c/
In the battle between the two last spring cup runner ups, I think /c/ steals a win. Both of these teams are highly competent, have strong exports and almost tasted gold recently, but it's merely /c/
>/k/ - /cm/
/k/ wins barring some inhumane amounts of bullshit, /cm/ is bad, they were bad on spring and they managed to bullshit their way into an elite, but I don't think they can pull it off again
>/jp/ - /u/
/jp/ wins, /u/ returned to form this last spring and should be a menace in this group, yet /jp/ has been one of, if not the most consistent team in the last couple of years, a great sleeper pick that always delivers solid performances
>/trv/ - /r9k/
/trv/ wins, despite /r9k/ incredible capability for disruption, /trv/ are another team on a strong elite streak in these past few cups, this one's a bit shaky personally but I think /trv/ should be a menace again
