the closest is ToTK. the game lets you explore and solve mysteries that are out in the wild. the sandbox aspect of the game also works pretty well since you're just one guy who has to constantly think on his feet to survive all kinds of situations. im gonna get shit on because its a nintendo game, but this is the closest i could think of besides the already mentioned Dragon's Dogma.
