Yeah, the thing is that I don't understand what the impetus is to be Christian in the modern era. At least when everybody was a serf, your church would look out for you. Nowadays they can't do shit and they don't want to do shit, so the only real motivation is trying to scare you into thinking that Hell is eternal torture and not just instant obliteration.
