People with actual friends and families are using private group chats to talk with each others, wants to meet new people? It's incredibly easy to find a discord group that fits your needs to a T. You don't need to make yourself a public figure and post your genuine opinions to billions of strangers that can adress you at any minute anywhere. If anything this is only useful if you are a celebrity or brand self promoting, and that's what social media is, a bunch of fucking ads, and there you are, a complete john doe doing it for free even with you hating evey second of it, you truly are lower than a janny if you use social media as a public figure
