FUCK I love old school death metal like this

Why do modern death metal bands over complicate it so much or add gimmicks to their song writing/themes, its so gay. Just want some dry bonehead riffs, based drumming, beefy vocals and we are good to go.

Do literally any new death metal bands make good honest death metal? Every single one of them I try in the last 10 years have been wanky space le quirky hardcore fag slop. Don't need no dissonance, don't need no technicality, don't need no slams, don't need no sci fi themes
