A quick blast of Lightning Magic jolts out of Glorio’s fingertips, shocking the demon that saw him. The other tries to get up, drawing a weapon, only for Glorio to elbow him in the gut and strike him in the head with an electrified punch. All of you rush in, finally able to properly see what’s going on outside. A large horned animal, easily close to the size of a smaller sauropod back on Earth but with a stocky body, massive head that looks like it belongs to some deranged flat-faced boar or hippo, with spikes running down its back and the bottom of its short neck, thick hide crimson in color, and very, very ornery. More oddly, it seems to be repelling attempts to subdue it with a Magic barrier while lashing out at everything that gets too close to it.

“Squad C what in the hell is that thing doing back at the castle?!” demands the leader of that group that passed by you all earlier.

“We don’t know, sir! It was there one moment and gone the next!”

“INCOMING!” a different voice calls out, one of the soldiers outside. And… you all watch as the ship you got here on gets tossed at some of the soldiers.

“...Crap.” you grumble.

“There goes our transport.” Glorio remarks glumly.

“We have plenty of escape routes, but what the hell is it doing here?” Keli questions.

You look around the other monitors, noticing a hooded figure in the corner of one. “Wait, there, zoom in!” you call out. Melee is able to get a closer look at it, and while you can’t make out many features, you can tell it looks like some, a girl, about your size, maybe a bit smaller. Cloak hides most of her features and outfit, though you catch a brief glimpse of her face. A face that looks a lot like yours. Glorio takes an involuntary step back, shaken a bit by what he sees. Yet just as quickly as you see her, she’s already gone… though she also managed to glimpse back at whatever camera was looking at her, giving a smug grin the moment she vanishes. A grin, and a message, a telepathic giggle. In a voice that sounds like yours, but younger.

“It’s her…” Glorio gloomily grunts, able to compose himself again.

>A. We need to follow after her, whatever her plan is, it’s not something we should just wait for it to happen
>B. Attempt to send a telepathic message back at her, use whatever lingering psychic link she established to try to get her to talk
>C. Let’s get out of here, they’ll be busy dealing with the beast and the traps, we haven’t been noticed yet
>D. Something else?
