Ok, so from this photo we can establish that Iva's 'father' likely isn't her real father.

1. The likelihood of Iva having blue eyes is very small, let alone both of the children having them...

2. Iva is prettier than her mum, even though her dad is ugly...

I don't think she's adopted though, because she shares a strong resemblance with her mother.

So basically, either Iva's mum secretly fucked chad or they got a sperm donor.
