The problem with Kuro is that it's too coward. They started trying to pander fujos at first adding some husbandos and that obnoxious lion twink, fujos didn't join because at that point the story was a fucking mess, then they went full HELLO FELLOW GOONERS but they still can't be as big as other gachas. This is because unlike let's say BA or Nikke, characters barely interact between them. They only talk and interact with the mc. Outside of that they barely exists
Mihoyo did the smart thing and they rotate from fujo banners to waifu banners between their gachas, so their ZZZ and Genshin went full waifus now while HSR went full husbando now (Midey also have a lot of male fans), this means hsr will go full waifu next while either zzz or genshin will go full husbando later (zzz had some buff wolf guy or some shit leaked). This is actually smart because you have fujos and waifufags saving money and going full money later.
The other thing is like they said, deep inside Kuro really wants the fujo audience (hell just look at you almost begging for fucking 14 fujo audience) but they are too in this this HELLO FELLOW WAIFUFAGS so they made some deals with AK fujos to shill ww.
That's the problem with ww, it's too dishonest and like it or not most merch and fanarts come from women and kuro clearly regrets not being able to pander to that market
