The Warlord Earring in SMTlV and lVA is much stronger than you would expect. This mostly matters more in lVA where STR is actually good.

Multi hit weapons under counter, even if they can hit multiple characters, will always only hit the enemy they are countering. Weapons with multiple hits, like Headhunter, will counter multiple times. This makes Warlord Earring strong with luck builds, as counters become almost guaranteed after a while. In lV, you can effectively make it where you will are guaranteed to get smirk from countering.

This effect becomes 5x stronger when considering Critical Earring exists, where you are given much more opportunities to do a counter.

Fury Earring and Light Soul are even stronger versions of Critical and Warlord Earrings, where counters are given a mini charge effect to the counter, making the basic melee attack even stronger.

TL:DR; STR is actually good in lV and stronger in lVA due to luck based mechanics with counters and multi-hit attack abuse.
