This line of argumentation holds no weight in current year. Russia has reserves now, Ukraine does not. Lengthening the frontline and putting pressure in different places only exhausts the few units ukraine has left, made worse by the fact they let most of them languish in kursk. It's not going to be flashy, it's just going to be gradual localised collapses. If it stabilises they do it somewhere else. Over and over.
