I can’t believe that anyone thinks the war is over and that a friend and wallet of Putin’s bloody money can perform in Barcelona, a city I love and respect so much.

Gergiev is not just a conductor and musician—he is a representative of Kremlin propaganda, part of a criminal regime. His participation in a European cultural event is tantamount to normalizing Russia’s war crimes.
