I agree that MLLSD should have been a TV show of some sort instead of a film series. While it being a film series does allow for a higher budget then a show, I don't really see that as necessary for a MLLSD adaptation

A show similar to that of Azumanga Daioh would work way better instead and would likely attract a broader audience
