Hey, filtering "cumbrain" to "gamer" stopped it in it's tracks completely, and the mods had good reason to do it since there was literally an organized effort to spam the term to try to get it into people's vocabulary
Unfortunately these people then switched to "coomer" and the mods decided to not do anything about that one, leading to it's current usage
I'm actually kind of glad that it got replaced by "gooner" since at least a group of sniveling teens trying to have their 15 minutes of internet fame weren't the ones behind it, but speaking of those we still have many of them trying to start their own personal memewords with varying degrees of success, like "keyed/locked" and "safe horny" <- literally came our of a twitter post talking about how they hoped it caught on in 4chan
