I don't really feel like revisiting it, I don't really care anymore. I wasn't being "manipulative." I sincerely felt like it was going to get us unwanted attention and was driving people off from contributing. For a while there I saw the threads were dying and didn't have much variety.

If you want to see it that way, fine, but it wasn't really the intent. I talked about the problems at the time with the thread and why I left. Other boards weren't friendly about it anyways.

That was the reason for complaining in the first place. The flooding made the thread unusable and not fun for multiple people. So people left. That's how things go.
