let me enlight you with my superior white intellect: underground facilities, especially missile storage, would require a control of temperature and humidity. A missile is way more sensitive than your romanigger fat nose so you need a properly working system to get fresh air from the surface inside your subterranean compound. And you need to regulate the humidity from this air. Same goes for maintaining an acceptable temperature so the missile do not overheat and go boom (it sounds stupid but most explosives do not appreciate high heats. On the opposite side, they become useless if the air is too wet)
and to add to all of it, the temperature belows ground, especially at such depths, become noticeably higher. In the Gotthard tunnels (dug about 2 kilometers underground) the temperature goes about 45°C and it's in the fucking mountains of Switzerland kek
