What surprises me is finding out that Sonic Unleashed was the director's preferred name. I wonder they kept the older name in Japan. This is kind of like finding out Nack was Fang's original name.
But why didn't they change Sonic Rush Adventure's name too if they were worried about people confusing it with the Adventure games? Was it because console devs really weren't paying attention to what handheld devs were doing?
